Food Policy Council Program

The new national Food Policy Council (FPC) Program is designed to support the development of current and emerging Food Policy Councils, and to help them link with and build markets for local farmers. The program will survey FPCs on their needs, provide direct technical assistance, facilitate information sharing, and identify policy ideas and promising practices for supporting local farmers (especially women, people of color, limited resource, and other traditionally underserved groups). For more information, contact Raquel Bournhonesque at raquel@foodsecurity.org or 310-822-5410.
