Special
Event:

Grow the Green
(
add purple and gold later…)
The New Orleans Food and Farm Network Gave away 1,000 lbs of
winter rye grass seed to New Orleans residents wanting to bring
some green back into their lives. Residents from nearly all
of the areas neighborhoods showed up to receive 5-15 lbs of
free rye grass seed with instructions on how to grow and revitalize
their soil. Special packets of hand-picked poppy flower seeds
were also distributed.
Thank you New Orleans Food and Farm Network (NOFFN) for working to keep community food security issues alive in the rebuilding effort in New Orleans.
