2004 CFSC Conference Scholarship and Work Trade Application Form

Thank you for your interest in the CFSC conference. Please note the following important information about scholarships and work trades:

  • In order to share scholarship funds more widely, scholarships are provided to first time recipients only. Also, in most cases only one scholarship per organization will be awarded.
  • Top priority will be given to low-income community members actively working on food security issues and to farmers.
  • Scholarships are awarded based on need, and the demonstrated ability to apply what is learned at the conference directly to work on community food security issues.
  • Scholarships are not available for field trips or short courses.
  • For work trades, the registration fee will be reduced by $15 for each hour worked (up to a maximum of eight hours).
  • Scholarships and work trade requests will be reviewed weekly on a first come, first served basis.
  • The deadline for applications is September 10 or until scholarships have been filled. Confirmations will be sent out on a rolling basis.
